استقبل السانتور شوكت مسلماني ضيف الجالية النائب اللبناني علي درويش، في مكتبه ببرلمان ولاية نيو ساوث ويلز، وقد اتصلنا بالسانتور مسلماني ليطلعنا على ما حدث اثناء الزيارة فقال:
I am delighted this morning to receive Ali Darwich Lebanese MP in my office at nsw parliament. As the co-chair of the Parliamentary Friends of Lebanon I was delighted to discuss with Mr Darwich, who was a member of the Parliamentary Friends of Australia, various ideas of improvents in trade and cooperation between our two parliaments and our two people given that there are over 300,000 Australians of Lebanese decent in the State of NSW. I introduced Deputy Ali Darwich to My colleague John Ajaka, president of the Legislative Council. After a short tour of the Legislative Council , Jihad Dib MP met with Mr Darwish.
